Burnaby RCMP have little information regarding a stabbing at Maywood Park last week and are hoping the public can help fill in the blanks.
Around 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 11, a man contacted police to report that he had been stabbed three times by two men in Maywood Park. The alleged victim has since been uncooperative with police, Cpl. Daniela Panesar, spokesperson for the Burnaby RCMP, told the NOW.
“He didn’t provide a statement or anything,” she added.
The man was taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening stabs wounds. It’s unclear whether or not he is known to police.
Other than the initial account of what happened, investigators don’t have any information to go on.
“If the guy’s not going to be cooperative we can’t really do too much about it,” Panesar said.
Burnaby RCMP are asking anyone who may have seen anything to contact police at 604-294-7922.
