A man faces drug-dealing charges after Burnaby RCMP officers found a fist-sized bag of suspected drugs in the SUV he was driving last month.
Two officers were patrolling in the area of Canada Way and Wayburne Drive on Aug. 11, after reports of criminal activity in the area, according to Burnaby RCMP.

Just after 8:30 p.m., they spotted suspicious activity that suggested drug trafficking around an SUV, police said, so they initiated a traffic stop.
A search of the vehicle revealed a bag of individually wrapped packages of suspected cocaine, heroin and fentanyl, a wallet stuffed with $1,515 cash, a knife and several cell phones, according to police.
The items were seized along with the SUV, and the driver was arrested.
He has since been released, according to Burnaby RCMP, but faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
