A video posted to YouTube – you can watch it below – takes you on a drive through Burnaby to see how things have changed.
The video posted by Dave Zille shows BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure footage from 1966 along Lougheed Highway in Burnaby and puts it alongside footage he shot of the same route in 2020.
The drive goes all the way out to Maple Ridge. It’s about 13 minutes and is a wild ride.
