Penny Chess Club is hosting the Greater Vancouver Chess Tournament on June 3 and 4 at Bonsor Recreation Complex.
If you want to compete in this ancient game, you can sign up online. More than 200 people have registered.
The club is based in Burnaby and currently has more than 100 students.
