In support of essential service providers during the COVID-19 pandemic, Burnaby Family Life is offering child care for the families who don’t have the option to stay home.
“We want to hear right away from doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other health-care workers and essential service providers so we can provide them with the peace of mind they need with child care,” says Michel Pouliot, executive director of Burnaby Family Life. “They can email us at [email protected].”
BFL has a limited number of spaces for children aged between three months and 12 years.
“Our facilities are operated by licensed professionals and every effort is made to keep everyone safe with cleaning and sanitizing protocols meeting the levels required by health authorities,” said Pouliot. “This opportunity is limited to the period of time our community will be impacted by the pandemic. We are grateful to the families who have voluntary donated their spots to help the families of essential service providers.”
