The midnight launch of EA Sports NHL 13 will have a special Burnaby visitor on Monday night.
Vancouver Canucks captain Henrik Sedin will be at the EB Games at Unit 1159 in the Metropolis at Metrotown shopping centre tonight (Sept. 10) signing autographs for people waiting to purchase the first copies of the popular video game.
The NHL 13 game, now in its 21st year, is one of the most critically acclaimed sports franchises of this generation, having sold more than 30 million units worldwide.
This year, the game features Canadian superstar Hayley Wickenheiser as the first playable female pro hockey player in the game's history.
Sedin is scheduled to be signing autographs between 9:30 and 11:30 p.m. Monday night, just prior to the midnight launch of the game.
