Today has been pure madness on the mean streets of Burnaby.
Schools were closed and people were told to stay home by the provincial government, but many didn’t heed that warning. Some took to transit and got stuck, while others took to the roads in vehicles and also got stuck.
Call it Snowmageddon or the Snowpocalypse, it has been a wild day.
Here are some photos and videos of what went down in Burnaby today.

More snow adventures... here's a close call on Parker in Burnaby. I saw this pickup barrelling down the road, blasting through the intersection and stepped aside well enough in advance, but still. #bcstorm #vancouversnowstorm2020 pic.twitter.com/PY3szbXpIR
