Gas prices see slight relief in Burnaby.

Gas prices in Burnaby average at $1.90 per litre.

For many of you, it might be a weekend with long commute — whether you're a Swiftie driving down to Seattle for the Eras Tour or attending the Jays game or heading to Vancouver to watch the first weekend of Celebration of Lights fireworks (we recommend taking public transport) — and your vehicles might need some top up.

After a pricey start to July over the Canada Day long weekend at your local gas pumps (at over $2 per litre), Burnaby's gas prices are starting to dip, albeit slowly.

Although nowhere near the $1.59 per litre price in Kelowna, B.C., currently the cheapest in the province, gas at pumps across Burnaby is selling at an average of $1.909 per litre; standing slightly lower than the regional average ($1.925 per litre) as of 1:45 p.m. on July 21.

For drivers filling up today, these are the prices at Burnaby pumps, according to Gasbuddy.com.
