If you were hoping to see gas prices dip as they have been in the last few weeks, prepare to be disappointed.
After a pricey start to July over the Canada Day long weekend at your local gas pumps (at over $2 per litre), Burnaby's gas prices dipped in the last two weeks, hovering at around $1.90 per litre. However, the prices have come full-circle at the end of the month, once again climbing towards $2 a litre.
The cheapest gas in the province is the Super Save in Prince George at $1.619 per litre.
Gas at pumps across Burnaby, however, is selling at an average of $1.936 per litre; so unless you're driving back from the north, you might have to stretch your wallet a bit to fuel up. The Metro Vancouver average stands at $1.984 per litre as of 2:30 p.m. on July 28.
