It appears gas prices are back on the rise in Burnaby.
The cheapest available is $1.63 per litre at three locations, as of this publication, Jan. 26, according to GasBuddy.com's latest data.
This marks the second consecutive price increase of four cents compared to $1.59 per litre offered last Friday, Jan. 19.
However, most commuters will be in the same price range at the pumps as the average remains at $1.65 per litre (see list below).
Burnaby's lowest price for fuel is six cents more than the least expensive in all of Metro Vancouver: $1.57 per litre at the Canco in Aldergrove.
That in itself is also an uptick of four cents compared to $1.53 per litre the same station offered last week.
GasBuddy.com says the cheapest gas in B.C. can be found in Williams Lake at $1.38 per litre at the Oliver Street Petro-Canada.
The province's interior still hosts the majority of affordable fuel. Nine of the top 10 prices are between $1.38 and $1.43 per litre in Vernon, Salmon Arm, 150 Mile House and Lake Country.
