Believe it or not, Burnaby is home to the cheapest gas in all of Metro Vancouver.
The Smart Gas on Canada Way is selling fuel for $1.99 per litre, as of this publication, April 5, according to GasBuddy.com (see list below).
It's the only outlet in the city offering a price of less than $2 per litre.
Last week, there were five, and the least expensive available was $1.95 per litre.
Burnaby's average price for gas has also gone up seven cents to $2.07 per litre from exactly $2 last Friday, March 29.
Local motorists looking to find any other relief at the gas pumps will have to endure a long trip to the Okanagan or north central interior.
GasBuddy.com says $1.63 per litre is currently the cheapest price for fuel in all of B.C., located at the Costco in Kamloops (1675 Versatile Dr.).
