GasBuddy.com's latest report shows nine outlets offering less than $1.80 per litre ahead of the B.C. Day long weekend (see list below).
The cheapest number is $1.71 per litre at the Super Save Gas on Kingsway, as of this publication, Aug. 2.
Burnaby's current average price for fuel is $1.78 per litre.
Metro Vancouver's cheapest price for gas sits at $1.69 per litre at the Fraser Highway Canco in Surrey — less than 30 km east of Burnaby — the only station at less than $1.70 per litre in the region.
The most affordable fuel in B.C. is $1.62 per litre at Costco in Kamloops.
