New Westminster is back at the $2 per litre threshold for local fuel.
Gas stations are averaging $2.03 per litre ahead of the long weekend, according to GasBuddy.com (see list below).
However, there's only one outlet that's offering less than $2 per litre.
The Centex and GOMarket on Ewen Avenue is holding steady at a price of $1.97 per litre, as of this publication, March 28.
The least expensive in all of Metro Vancouver is set at $1.93 per litre at the Centex and GOMarket along Lougheed Highway in Pitt Meadows.
Meanwhile, the most affordable gas in all of B.C. can be found in the Okanagan and north central interior.
Tappen's Trans Canada Esso station, located 15 km north of Salmon Arm and 435 km north east of Burnaby, is offering $1.57 per litre.
