Here's where you can find COVID-19 PPEs in Burnaby

As part of safe operations during COVID-19, many Burnaby businesses may need to provide PPE or personal protective equipment such as masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer, to their staff and customers, and display safety precaution signage and decals.

In addition, where businesses are no able to ensure physical distancing of two metres between employees and other employees or customers, they will need to install plastic or glass shields to create a safe barrier between people.

But with everyone facing COVID-19 at the same time, finding and securing these sought-after items can be difficult.

To support local businesses in sourcing PPE and COVID-19 safety equipment, the Burnaby Board of Trade has developed a COVID-19 Safety Equipment Supplier List with details for local companies that are either supplying or manufacturing PPE items, plastic barriers, and signage.

The list includes local companies that have long provided safety equipment as well as businesses that have pivoted their operations to produce COVID-19 equipment.

To get a copy of the list for yourself free of charge, businesses are invited to email [email protected].

Information on COVID-19, reopening plans, and the programs available to support businesses and individuals is available online at the Burnaby Board of Trade’s COVID-19 Updates page: BBOT.ca/COVID-19
