For numerous years, TransLink has been studying and promising to reduce the noise from SkyTrain.

Currently from the Patterson SkyTrain station to the Metrotown station, SkyTrain cars are generating unhealthy noise levels above 90 decibels, from early in the morning to very early the following morning, seven days a week.

It’s time for TransLink and the TransLink Mayors’ Council to finally fix this noise pollution problem which will greatly assist in providing a healthy residential environment for our densely populated Metrotown neighbourhood.
