Burnaby's Alessandro Hojabrpour was welcomed into the Whitecaps fold Monday with the announcement of the Whitecaps FC new residency program players list.
Dusan Mitrovic and Niklas Papakyriakopoulos, both of New Westminster, were also among the 17 new players, including five from the Coquitlam MetroFord Soccer Club, unveiled for the under-13 boys program, which is open to players born in 2000 and 2001.
