My name is Lotus Chung and I've been living Burnaby for more than 10 years. I want to ask for your support in voting for TEAM Burnaby. I am currently a financial advisor, Interpreter, and real estate specialist. I hold a masters of education degree and was formerly a school teacher. As an active community member, I've served as a volunteer, a director, an advisory member, and president of a number of non-profit organizations.
I'm running for Burnaby city council with TEAM Burnaby, because I believe this should be an even better city than it is today. My professional experience brings a very well-rounded, business-oriented background to this race. I want to be your voice. I want to bring accountability, and wise financial planning back to the city's decision-making.
I want to promote economic growth and job creation, improve community policing and encourage greater public input. I will make decisions in an open and transparent manner. I want to bring back respect for the people who live here. Respect for the thoughts and ideas of community and business groups. I love my job and the people I work with.
