As thousands of first responders gathered in Richmond to honour slain Burnaby RCMP Const. Shaelyn Yang, her alleged killer made another appearance in Vancouver provincial court.
Jongwon Ham, 37, appeared briefly by video Wednesday, but his case was adjourned to Nov. 16.
It was the second court appearance for Ham, who has been in custody since his arrest on Oct. 18.
That day, Yang was stabbed to death after she accompanied a City of Burnaby parks employee on a call to Broadview Park off Canada Way near the Burnaby-Vancouver border.
An altercation ensued, during which Yang was fatally stabbed and Ham was shot.
He made his first court appearance on Oct. 19.
