Burnaby RCMP arrested a 23-year-old man for allegedly selling drugs at Bonsor Skate Park last Wednesday.
The arrest came after several days of surveillance by the community response team officers who were working off a tip from the public, according to a media release.
The investigation culminated in the arrest of the suspect at Bonsor. A subsequent search of his home turned up a large quantity of marijuana, the release added.
"Drug trafficking has no boundaries and the fact that the arrest occurred at a skateboard park utilized by youth could suggest that some youth were also being supplied marijuana which is illegal and addictive," said Sgt. Scott Rintoul of the Burnaby RCMP's drug section.
