Burnaby RCMP is in the initial stages of investigating a stabbing that has sent one man to hospital.
Police confirmed with the NOW that a man had been stabbed near Grange Street and Barker Avenue shortly after 4:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.
According to Staff Sgt. Rob Marks, the victim has been taken to hospital and his condition is unknown at this time.
Marks was unable to provide any information on suspects or circumstances surrounding the stabbing as details were still coming in at the time.
