The RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man seen roaming patios in southwest Burnaby.

From Nov. 1 to 2, Mounties received three separate reports of a man seen on first floor apartment patios in the Kingsway and Metrotown areas of Burnaby.

According to Cpl. Jason Kelders, police aren’t sure what the individual was doing on the patios – if he was trying to get into the buildings, he wasn’t successful.

In one of the incidents the man knocked on the patio door, but the resident didn’t answer, Kelders added.

Burnaby RCMP would like to speak with the individual and are hoping the public can identify him by the distinctive hoodie he is seen wearing in a surveillance video – deuce is written across the front and back of the sweater in large letters.

Police described him as Caucasian, between 5’10” and 6 feet tall with a medium to muscular build.

Anyone who may know the individual is asked to contact Burnaby RCMP at 604-294-7922 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
