A new child-care centre, Seeds and Roots Montessori, has been proposed for the Bainbridge Avenue area of Burnaby.
The facility, with space for 53 children, is planned for 2830 Bainbridge Ave.
It would accommodate eight infants and toddlers (under 36 months), 25 children between three and five years old, and 20 part-time Montessori preschool students in the mornings and afternoons.
The current property has to be redeveloped to accommodate the centre. The redevelopment proposal is going to public hearing on Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. in the council chamber at City Hall.
For those who cannot attend, written submissions regarding the development must be received at the city clerk's office by 4: 45 p.m. on the day of the public hearing.
