In advance of the opening of Victoria's Secret at Metropolis at Metrotown, the store is holding a job fair for sales associates, sales support associates, cash wrap associates and elevated associate roles, according to a post on the shopping centre's website.
The job fair is this Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the community room beside Old Navy.
Those interested in applying are advised to bring a resumé along with two references, one of which should be a current or former supervisor or manager.
The store is expected to open sometime this fall.
Info session for new members
The Burnaby Board of Trade is holding an information session for new members this month.
President Paul Holden, along with other board staff members, will give an overview of the services and benefits that come along with board memberships.
The session is next Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the board's offices, 201-4556 Kingsway.

High tea dim sum with the board
Also on Sept. 25, the Burnaby Board of Trade is holding a high tea dim sum networking event, Think Asia, Think Hong Kong.
Gloria Lo, director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Canada, and Andrew Yui, director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, will be at the event to discuss strategies, ways and means for businesses to diversify to Asia via Hong Kong, according to the board's website.
The event is scheduled to run from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Fortune House Seafood Restaurant. Tickets are $20.

The Burnaby Board of Trade has a busy week planned. The board is holding another event next week, on Thursday - its Experience India information session.
The board is planning a trip to India in 2014 for its members - an 11-day tour of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, as well as Ranthambore National Park, according to the board's website.

Home Depot job fair next month
Not to be outdone by the lingerie set, Home Depot is also holding a job fair in Burnaby this fall. The fair is on Oct. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m.
The hardware company is hiring overnight and delivery puller associates, according to the job posting.
The career fair is at the Burnaby Home Depot at 3950 Henning Dr.
