A festival of photos, talks and activities showcasing Nordic immigrant life in North America until 1960 took place in Burnaby recently.
There were talks on Viking-age archeology, Norse shipbuilding, Nordic design, Norse mythology and more.
There were also photo displays of the lives of immigrants.
