COVID-19 numbers in Burnaby continue to hold steady.
According to the latest COVID-19 Surveillance Dashboard data, Burnaby Northwest and Southwest still sit at 0% positivity rates from June 28 to July 4.
The data is released by the BCCDC.
Northeast and Southeast Burnaby are holding at 1%.
B.C.'s caseloads are beginning to see a seesaw pattern after cases were on a steep decline weeks prior.
The numbers during the past week are as follows according to the BCCDC:
- July 2-3: 30
- July 3-4: 37
- July 4-5: 20
- July 5-6: 46
- July 6-7: 59
As of today (July 7), 78.2% of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 38.2% received their second dose.
British Columbia remains in phase 3 of its restart plan, with step four going into effect no earlier than September 7, 2021.
Burnaby's latest regional numbers for June 28 to July 4 are as follows. Case rates are new cases per 100,000 people by local health area and community health service area.
