A man is in custody after a fatal stabbing in Burnaby late Monday night.
Burnaby RCMP was called to the 5100-block of Kingsway at about 11:30 p.m. after a report of a stabbing involving multiple victims.
Upon arrival, officers found three victims suffering from stab wounds.
Two of the victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while a third died of their injuries.
A male suspect was arrested a short distance from the scene.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called in, and the area around the scene will be cordoned off for a significant amount of time, according to police.
