Fraser Health has sent a letter to parents of a Burnaby elementary school about possible contact with a “confirmed case” of COVID-19.
Parents of children at Windsor Elementary School on Imperial Street have been told that family members “may have” come into contact with the virus on March 5, 6, 9 and 10, according to a copy of the letter posted on Twitter by NEWS 1130 radio.
Fraser Health is advising that Windsor families monitor their health closely for 14 days from their last visit the school, and to practice social distancing.
No details were supplied about if the person with COVID-19 works at the school or is a student or a parent.
