Many people across Metro Vancouver woke up to snow on the ground, including Burnaby, but it's not going to last long as rain is in the forecast for this afternoon.
Some may have seen a light dusting, but others saw much more depending on the area.
TransLink has issued a general advisory about travel on bus and SkyTrain, noting that commuting may be affected by the weather.
"We continue to salt and sand bus loops and SkyTrain stations, but please use caution in these areas; there may be extra crowding on some bus routes and SkyTrain platforms during this mornings rush hour," a morning travel advisory says.
The City of Burnaby also reminds everyone it's their responsibility to clear sidewalks adjacent to their properties and to help those who may struggle with the task if they can.
And sorry, kids: School is still in session.
