One of the region’s top summer attractions returned to Burnaby this weekend, with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra performing film-soundtrack favourites at Deer Lake Park.
The free outdoor concert drew an estimated crowd of 17,000 people, according to City staff, on Saturday evening to hear live performances of movie music including selections from the scores of James Bond films, leitmotifs from the Star Wars and Harry Potter series and others.
