Photos: Toronto Raptors train before hundreds of Burnaby basketball fans

SFU's West Gym was packed Friday, Oct. 6, to watch some of the NBA's best players prepare for a preseason game in Vancouver.

The Toronto Raptors held an open practice in Burnaby, two days ahead of a preseason game in Vancouver against the Sacramento Kings.

The sold out session, part of their training camp in preparation for the upcoming NBA season, was held at Simon Fraser University's West Gym which holds a capacity of 1,600. 

Earlier in the day the National Basketball Players Association and its members on the Toronto Raptors announced that they are donating $10,000 to the Simon Fraser's Teaching Support Staff Union's strike fund is to help workers in "their fight of a fair contract."
