A medical emergency shut down the Mary Hill Bypass Sunday evening.
Coquitlam RCMP were on the scene and cordoned off the westbound lanes between Shaughnessy Street and Pitt River Road for more than five hours. Paramedics were also on scene.
Police have yet to provide details of the incident. The Independent Investigation Office of B.C. is also looking into the matter.
