A Burnaby man was in critical condition in hospital after being stabbed repeatedly during a street fight early Sunday in Burnaby.
The Burnaby man who's alleged to have done the stabbing is now facing an attempted murder charge.
The incident occurred at approximately midnight at Canada Way and Imperial Street, when two groups of people got into an altercation.
About an hour later, the same group had a second fight outside a home in the 7600 block of Imperial Street.
"The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries," said Burnaby RCMP Cpl. Rick Skolrood. "We are still investigating what happened."
