The Coquitlam RCMP are asking for the public's help in trying to identify and arrest a woman they believe was involved in five bank robberies.

The police released surveillance photos of the woman who they allege robbed two Coquitlam banks in late October 2011.

"Different specialized sections such as the police dog service and forensic identification section has been called to assist, but we haven't been able to get to the bottom of these investigations," Const. Alex Bojic of Coquitlam RCMP's robbery section said in a press release.

Bojic added that investigators also believe the woman is linked to two Burnaby bank robberies and an unsuccessful Langley bank robbery.

The woman is described as Caucasian, 45 to 55 years old, 5-4 to 5-10 tall with blonde hair and a medium to heavy build.

If you know this woman, please contact the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2011-29809. Anyone wishing to provide information anonymously can contact CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or www.solvecrime.ca.
