Police seek help in locating dog stolen during Burnaby break-and-enter

Burnaby RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in finding a dog that was stolen during a break-and-enter on Dec. 21.

Mounties in Burnaby are asking for the public's help in finding a dog that was stolen on Wednesday (Dec. 21). 

In a news release, RCMP said officers responded to a report of a break-and-enter and theft involving a dog that occurred in the 5600-block Patrick Street. 

"Bouncer" was last seen in the heated, detached garage Wednesday night.

Police say it's believed, between 6 and 8 p.m., someone broke into the garage and took Bouncer, as well as the dog's blanket. 

Bouncer is described as: 

  • Black and white terrier
  • 10 years old
  • Roughly 15 pounds
  • Wearing a white collar

“Please call Burnaby RCMP if you have information that can assist police in locating Bouncer," Cpl. Mike Kalanj said. 

“We would like nothing more than to reunite Bouncer with his family.”
