Poll result: Almost half of Richmond News readers blame airlines, weather and YVR for travel chaos

A survey published last week revealed that the public blamed the weather and airlines for December's air travel chaos in Canada.

Richmond News polled 1181 Richmond News readers and asked the question: Who do you blame for the air travel chaos last month?

The poll ran from 1/19/2023 to 1/23/2023. Of the 1181 votes, we can determine that 234 are from within the community. The full results are as follows:

The airlines 11.97 % local, 17.10 % total    
YVR 12.82 % local, 11.18 % total    
The weather 23.08 % local, 23.03 % total
