The Surrey RCMP have arrested a man they believe is responsible for at least one bank robbery and possibly a string of robberies throughout the Lower Mainland.
Robert John Paton was arrested on Tuesday night in the city centre area of Surrey.
Paton is currently in custody and is facing outstanding robbery charges out of Vancouver.
Police are expecting additional charges to be laid against Paton in connection with financial institution robberies committed in Surrey, Langley and Burnaby.
