The Big '80s Run is coming to Burnaby Saturday, March 8.

It's time to get your groove on this weekend and run (or dance) your way around Central Park in Burnaby.

The Big Fun Run Series is hosting the inaugural Big '80s Run event on Saturday, March 8.

The event will focus on "fun times, not finish times."

With two different races, a one-kilometre and five-kilometre, the Central Park course is suitable for all ages and abilities and is pet and stroller friendly.

Dressing up is encouraged, and an '80s costume item will be provided as part of registration.

The event includes door prize giveaways, vendors and awards for best costume, best photo and best pet costume.

The Big Fun Run Series is partnering to fundraise for Music Heals.

Don't forget to bring a water bottle!
