This sign is expected to be gone along Lougheed Highway soon.

Drivers in the Brentwood area will finally have some relief from traffic congestion as FortisBC work on the Lougheed Highway wraps up.

Lougheed Highway between Holdom and Sperling avenues will be fully reopened for traffic next week, with just a few intermittent lane closures for final work. Douglas Road between Carleton and Madison avenues will also reopen this week, following the Halifax Street-Douglas Road intersection which was reopened for east-west traffic already this past week.

In a press release, FortisBC said this is the end of its gas line work in Burnaby for 2018.
