A second fatality in two days has happened on a Burnaby road.
Burnaby RCMP investigators are on scene near Metrotown mall this afternoon trying to determine the cause of a fatal crash that may have involved as many as eight vehicles.
A portion of Kingsway near Nelson Avenue to Marlborough Avenue has been closed after one person was killed and two others sent to hospital.

On Thursday, a 75-year-old pedestrian was killed on Marine Way near Boundary Road in what Burnaby RCMP are calling a hit-and-run incident. Police are looking for a “vehicle of interest” described as a semi-truck pulling a dark-red shipping container. Burnaby RCMP is also looking for anyone with dash cam footage who was in the area at the time of the crash.
