SkyTrain service on the Expo Line between Braid and Columbia stations will remain disrupted until the end of the day on Thursday, March 3, 2022, according to TransLink.

If you are trying to ride SkyTrain in New Westminster this morning, prepare for delays.

A track issue is disrupting Expo Line service in New Westminster, says TransLink.

There is no train service between Braid and Columbia stations.

“Due to the nature of the issue, maintenance crews can’t repair the track until after service ends. Expo Line service will be impacted for the remainder of the service day,” said a news release.

“While there is a bus bridge in place, we recommend that customers consider finding an alternate bus route. Additional security and Transit Police are at the stations to ensure passenger safety and crowd control. Millennium and Canada Lines are not affected and are running normally.”

Customers seeking alternative routes to SkyTrain are encouraged to consult the Trip Planner online and select "Don't Use SkyTrain" under advanced search settings, or contact TransLink’s customer information desk (604-953-3333) for trip planning advice.
