Snow is falling again in parts of Burnaby and the temperatures will continue to fall in the coming days, along with possibly more snowflakes.

Snow is falling in the city’s higher elevations, including parts of Metrotown, Burnaby Mountain and Capitol Hill.

The temperatures will also be falling at night so you are advised to stay indoors or be dressed for the conditions.

Wednesday is expected to see continued flurries with up to 2 cm of snowfall accumulation, and a high of zero. However, temperatures will dip down to -8°C at night but will feel more like a frigid -16°C with the wind chill.

Environment Canada's weather statement is still in effect, which calls for temperatures 5 to 10 degrees below the seasonal average.

Additionally, Arctic Outflow warnings are possible for the Fraser Valley, the Sea to Sky corridor and the Central Coast beginning Wednesday night as wind chill values approach minus 20.
