Toy drives this holiday season are happening throughout the city.

As the season of giving approaches, there's more than one way to spread joy in your community.

Burnaby Christmas Bureau at Brentwood Mall

The donors, volunteers and community members of Burnaby Christmas Bureau help bring holiday cheer to families in need in the winter season through its Toy Room and seniors hamper program.

The Burnaby Christmas Bureau will host a Toy Room from now till Tuesday, Dec. 19.

When: Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: The Amazing Brentwood (4567 Lougheed Hwy.), former Sears store location, near the children's play area
Note: There is a large red toy box outside the Toy Room for out-of-office toy drop-off

Holiday Wish Toy Drive at the City of Lougheed Mall

The City of Lougheed and Burnaby RCMP are hosting Keian's Holiday Wish Toy Drive to carry on the legacy of Keian Blundell by collecting donations to support sick children.

You can donate new, unwrapped toys in front of London Drugs. All items will be donated to BC Children's Hospital and Canuck Place Children's Hospice.

When: Friday, Dec. 1 to Saturday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Lower level of the mall, in front of London Drugs

Metrotown Mall Toy Drive

The Burnaby Firefighters and Burnaby Christmas Bureau are partnering with Metropolis at Metrotown to spread smiles to those who may otherwise go without gifts.

You can donate unopened and new toys to the booth on the ground level of the mall.

When: Saturday, Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Metropolis at Metrotown, ground level in front of Victoria’s Secret
