Every year, the city hosts free cultural performances, activities and crafts for kids in Civic Square, with its Summer Sundays series.
But Sundays aren't the only day for fun in the square. Parents can drop by with their children from Tuesday to Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Starting in August, the city will also screen free outdoor films, from 8:30 to 10 p.m. Civic Square is just outside the Bob Prittie Metrotown library branch, at 6100 Willingdon Ave.
