Another BC Cannabis Store (BCCS) has officially opened in Burnaby.
The BC Liquor Distribution Branch announced its third provincially operated store has officially opened to local residents as of 10 a.m. this morning (Dec. 20).
"All BCCS are designed to be bright, clean, welcoming and professional, while creating a safe and favourable alternative to purchasing cannabis from the illicit market," reads a statement to the NOW.
The distribution branch said store hours will be Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
Brentwood (#2-4615 Lougheed Hwy.) and Old Orchard (Unit 1-4429 Kingsway Ave.) are Burnaby's other two locations.
Burnaby's regulations allow one government store in each of the city's four town centres: Metrotown, Edmonds, Lougheed and Brentwood.
