1 Get rocking to Florence and the Machine, scheduled to play tonight at Deer Lake Park. While the show is listed as sold out, tickets were still being released via Ticketmaster on Wednesday morning. Lead singer Florence Welch underwent treatment for a vocal cord injury last week, so check to make sure the show is still a go.
2 Get riding on Saturday, July 21 at the Burnaby Equestrian Centre's open house, running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 9080 Avalon Ave. on the east side of Burnaby Lake. This event features pony rides, barn tours, free manure for your garden and information about the public lesson program and the facility. It's hosted by volunteers from the Burnaby Horsemen's Association, with support from the City of Burnaby. Bring some change for concession snacks and well-heeled

3 Get celebrating the Edmonds City Fair, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday,

4 Get watching the Serevi Sevens Rugby tournament on Saturday, July 21 at Swangard Stadium. An elite field of eight will include the Seattle-based Serevi Selects, Burnaby Lake Rugby Club's Global Lighthouse, the Fiji Wardens, the Cayman Islands Maples, five-time U.S. champion OPSB of Seattle, Wings Fijian Select, South Seas and Edmonton.
