Young people ages 12 to 23 are invited to be extras for a TV series filming in Burnaby this Friday, Sept. 21.
Mr. Young, a hit YTV comedy series and Canada's first multi-camera teen series, is taped in front of a live audience.
For this episode, producers are looking for about 500 people to fill the street between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. for a scene that involves a live outdoor concert.
Victoria Duffield, who performed Sunday night at Rogers Arena with Cody Simpson and Big Time Rush, will make a guest appearance in the episode, reprising her role from the show's second season.
Currently filming its third season, Mr. Young is a show that follows child prodigy Adam Young (Brendan Meyer) who, having completed college at age 14, goes back to high school as a science teacher. There, he reunites with his childhood best friend Derby (Gig Morton), and develops a crush on a student in his class named Echo (Matreya Fedor).
The studio is at 5828 Byrne Rd. in Burnaby (off Marine Way and Market Crossing).
