Two Burnaby residents are among the seven latest people to be charged for their part in last June's Stanley Cup riot.
Michael Bosa, 21, is now facing charges of mischief and participating in a riot. Spencer Cox, 18, is facing charges of arson, mischief and participating in a riot.
The Crown-approved charges were announced Wednesday, which was notable because it was the same day that the Vancouver Canucks began their 2012 playoffs.
Crown counsel approved a total of 18 charges against the seven alleged rioters, bringing the total number of charges laid to 225 charges against 85 people.
Also on Wednesday, the Vancouver Police Department's integrated riot investigation team has recommended to Crown an additional 76 criminal charges be laid against 25 more suspected rioters.
To date, the integrated riot team has recommended 508 charges against 175 people.
Of the people the integrated riot team has recommended charges against, the greatest percentage, 23 per cent, come from Surrey, where 40 of the 175 come from. Vancouver is second with 27 and Burnaby is third with 22, or 12.5 per cent.
New Westminster has four people amongst the 175 the integrated riot team has recommended charges against.
