Two people were hospitalized after a Monday afternoon motorcycle crash in North Burnaby.
The crash, which occurred on Hastings Street between Fell Avenue and Holdom Avenue, involved a motorcycle slamming into the back of a car.
The motorcycle broke into two pieces from the impact of the collision.
A woman who was thrown from the motorcycle suffered a suspected broken leg.
The driver is also in hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
Hastings Street was closed for several hours as police investigators collected evidence.
