Police identified the body found on Burnaby Mountain yesterday morning as that of a missing Vancouver man.
Vancouver police posted on Twitter Wednesday afternoon that officers had identified the body found near a trail on Burnaby Mountain as Paul Hoyer.
Police confirmed he was reported missing last week.
Hoyer’s body was found shortly before 10 a.m. on Nov. 19. Burnaby Mounties were called to the scene by paramedics and quickly contacted the coroner.
Vancouver police identified Hoyer after next of kin were notified.
Police do not believe his death was suspicious.
