Burnaby RCMP are looking for several suspects in yesterday’s South Burnaby shooting that sent one man to hospital.
On Monday, at 3:43 p.m., police received a call about an altercation between a man and a group of males in the 4100 block of Victory Street, near the Ocean View Burial Park. Upon arrival, they located the victim, who had been shot in the leg. He was transported to a hospital and later released.
“The investigation’s ongoing, the victim’s known to police and we don’t believe this is a random attack,” Insp. Bob Page told the NOW, adding that no one is in custody and police are still pursuing leads.
